About the Navajo Nation:

We will have the opportunity to work with a local community garden, facilitate children’s programming and help with work projects in the community. During our week in the Navajo Nation, we will learn from community friends about Navajo culture, experience the beauty of the high deserts, see a traditional Hogan with a Christian influence and much more. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2001.

Serving the Navajo Nation:

  • Serve through painting, cleaning, helping with yard work or doing other simple work projects.
  • Plan and lead children’s programming, including Bible lessons, games, crafts and reading activities.
  • Students will have the opportunity to participate with each of the service sites during the week.
